On 16 March 2021, IQAir published its 2020 World Air Quality Report which presents the air quality status of cities across 106 countries.
The report highlights unprecedented clean air as a result of short-term COVID-19 lockdown measures, as well as several extreme pollution episodes related to climate change during 2020, such as sandstorms and wildfires.
